Panthers plan to increase McMillan's slot usage to 20%, positioning him for a breakout.

The Panthers want to play McMillan from the slot more in 2026. His 15.2% slot rate ranked 101st among 117 WRs with 200+ routes last season. With field-stretcher Chris Brazzell out for the season, it will be tactically difficult, but Jalen Coker's emergence should help McMillan reach closer to 20% slot rate, which would be a big enough deal to help him take the next step.
