Yahoo Sports NFL on Evan Engram

Engram standout on Day 1; Webb connection could unlock potential in new offense.

Engram was arguably the Broncos' best pass catcher on Day 1 and is on the verge of flourishing under offensive coordinator Davis Webb, with whom he has a close personal relationship and former Giants teammate history. He was heavily targeted during practice and caught a 50+ yard reception from Jarrett Stidham. Head Coach Sean Payton said Engram can 'definitely be a big asset for us' and highlighted his running ability as a strength, though Payton also noted that Engram must earn his touches among the Broncos' many offensive weapons.
