ArticleOvervalued Fantasy Football Draft Picks to Avoid on ESPN (2026)
From the article
Kenyon Sadiq's situation is more straightforward than the previous two players we discussed. We don't have to look at positional trends here: A 40-pick gap speaks for itself... we're still talking about a rookie tight end on the Jets. Even in the scenarios where he does hit, Sadiq will probably have to ride fantasy benches for a large portion of the year. The modal outcome is that he never emerges as more than a touchdown-or-bust member of the tight end wasteland.

Sadiq's 40-pick ADP premium over ECR ignores rookie TE bust risk.
Sadiq is overvalued on ESPN at TE ADP 147.4 versus ECR 189, a 40-pick gap that is massive even in late-round context. While Sadiq is a hyperathletic rookie with elite draft capital (16th overall pick) on a Jets offense with only one established pass-catcher in Garrett Wilson, the modal outcome is that he never emerges beyond a touchdown-or-bust tight end wasteland member. Even in hit scenarios, he will likely ride fantasy benches for much of the year. His elevated ADP represents poor opportunity cost compared to players with objectively better ranges of outcomes, including the massively undervalued Dalton Kincaid at the position.
