McMillan's WR15 ADP is too steep given Bryce Young's limitations and Jalen Coker's emergence.

McMillan is a bust risk at ADP 37.7 (WR15) despite stellar underlying metrics in his rookie season. While he ranked 6th in route participation rate (89.6%), 3rd in air yards share (42.4%), and tied for 10th in receiving yardage market share (30.7%), he finished only WR21 in half-PPR points per game (10.4) and WR20 in expected half-PPR points per game (12.6) among 91 wideouts with 250+ routes. His ceiling is capped by a lousy offensive environment: the Panthers are tied for 24th in situation-neutral pass rate (53%) and dead last in plays per 60 minutes (60), with 29th-ranked pass rate over expectation (-4.0% PROE). Quarterback Bryce Young ranked 32nd in EPA per play (-0.03) among 45 QBs with 100+ plays in 2025, has cleared 200 passing yards only 35.6% of career starts, and thrown multiple TDs only 28.9% of the time. Additionally, McMillan benefited from weak target competition early in 2025 when Jalen Coker missed six weeks; in the final five games after the Week 14 bye, Coker outproduced McMillan in many categories and received an offseason extension, creating ongoing target competition in a run-heavy offense.
