STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Gainwell could be top-15 RB if given full role with Irving injured and Mayfield slinging.

Gainwell is coming into a situation with an injured incumbent (Bucky Irving) with vague and non-committal reports about his progress, and a quarterback (Baker Mayfield) who likes to sling the ball. Even with just the third-down role and occasional relief work, Gainwell could outpace his fantasy ADP; if given the role full-time, he would be a top-15 running back.
