Hall sits in a crowded middle tier, and while talent has never been the issue, his situation has consistently limited his ceiling. His rushing production has topped out around 1,100 yards in a season. On the receiving side, last year should be discounted entirely since his quarterbacks were reluctant to check the ball down. Going back to 2023, he caught 76 passes and finished as the RB6 in half-PPR points per game, but that came while he was clearly the offense's second-best pass catcher on a depleted roster with a struggling quarterback. In 2024, quarterback play improved, but that quarterback is also known for leaning heavily on check-downs, and the team still finished with a losing record, again capping the ground game while keeping his reception totals respectable but unspectacular. That 2024 season is the best comparison for projecting this year, now that the team has added a new starting quarterback who has also shown no hesitation to check the ball down. The reception rate from that quarterback to a different running back last season mirrors the prior quarterback-to-Hall reception rate almost exactly. If the offensive line improves, the expectation is that quarterback checks the ball down less, which would cap Hall's receiving floor even further. If it doesn't improve, the ground game stays limited the way it always has. Either path points to a repeat of Hall's established production range rather than a breakout, and the team has also continued to hint at using a three-way committee in the backfield rather than committing bell-cow touches to Hall alone.
