Murray's rushing ability alone makes him a clear QB1 candidate in fantasy, and he's a strong fit in the Vikings' downfield-oriented passing game, even if he won't access the middle of the field as much as Sam Darnold did in 2024. Murray ranked 37th in adjusted net yards per pass attempt in 2025 with 4.72, by far the lowest mark of his career, but was still objectively better than McCarthy's 4.31 (40th out of 45 passers).
