Yahoo Sports NFL on Tucker Kraft

Kraft's YY Wing role creates pass-catching opportunities in low red zone.

Kraft operates as the inside man in the Packers' 12 personnel YY Wing formation (1 RB, 2 TE, 2 WR, both TEs tight to the line on the same side), positioning him as the strongest blocking tight end closer to the formation while making him difficult to cover on pass plays; this alignment worked well for the Packers in low red zone situations and allows Kraft to disengage from blocks and release into open space.
