I think I might even take Joe Burrow at pick 51 just for the sake of this experiment... 6.1% of Joe Burrow... the quarterback five going at pick 69 and a half, and then you have the quarterback 16 going at pick 104... I'm hoping for is either to get Burrow at pick 70... Burrow went at pick 60 to the Tee Higgins drafter

Elite QB at 6.1% ADP; better value than mid-tier tier despite early draft run.

Joe Burrow is considered as the second elite QB in Davis Mattek's double elite QB strategy, with Mattek stating 'I think I might even take Joe Burrow at pick 51 just for the sake of this experiment.' At 6.1% ADP, Burrow is right about at market with other elite QBs. Mattek argues that elite-tier QBs are better values than mid-tier QBs given compressed QB pricing; QB5 goes at pick 69.5 while QB16 goes at pick 104, making top-tier QBs relatively less expensive than the mid-tier. In the actual draft, Mattek hoped to acquire Burrow at pick 70 as part of a Ja'Marr Chase stack strategy, but Burrow was drafted earlier (pick 60) by another team, forcing a pivot to Dak Prescott.
