Isaiah Likely now with the New York Giants, is he primed for a tight end one role in New York? Um it's going to be fascinating to see because are they just throwing away Theo Johnson? I don't think they are... he's capable of having a strong year kind of like a you know, 8 to 900 yard, 1,100 yards tops, 8 to 10 touchdown season. That's possible, especially if they're going to use him more like a wide receiver out of the slot to replace Wan'Dale Robinson.
STACKED’s take
Harris: Likely capable of 800–1,100 yards and 8–10 TDs if used as primary slot weapon.
Bob Harris evaluates Isaiah Likely's potential in the Giants offense as capable of 800–1,100 yards and 8–10 touchdowns if used as a primary weapon, particularly if deployed as a slot receiver to replace Wan'Dale Robinson. However, the Giants' run-oriented scheme with Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy, combined with two-tight-end personnel (Thomas Fidone and Theo Johnson as interior options), may limit his usage. Harris notes Likely is available at tight-end-two pricing now but expects hype to build; the key variable is whether the Giants draft a first- or second-day receiver, which could hedge Likely's role and reduce his fantasy ceiling below what John Harbaugh's public statements suggest.
