From the episode
Aaron Jones is God love him on his last leg... I struggle to see where you can put significant volume on him... it is going to operate similar to what we saw at the beginning of last season... Early downward goal line work and then obviously some work on the ground, but change of pace there in terms of receiving downs for Aaron Jones... statistically does seem like that would be in line for this year, given the age and what we saw last year.
STACKED’s take
Negative signalRole
Aaron Jones aging out with limited volume; elevated injury risk expected.
Aaron Jones is characterized as being on his last leg at age, with limited volume upside in Minnesota's running back room. The source expects his role to mirror early-2024 usage: early-down and goal-line work with some ground game touches, but reduced receiving-down snaps as a change-of-pace back. Given his age and ineffectiveness last season, the source views his injury risk as statistically elevated for the upcoming year.
