Chris Bell is a dangerous player that I I'll mention it as part of one of those in the sense that he's the player in this draft that I would say um I'm afraid to I'm afraid to consider and I'm equally afraid to not consider... he's like DeVante Parker, you know, like you would go DeVante Parker who was also at Louisville... he figured out that God gave him the ability to do some work and actually have a disciplined approach to his game around year three, year four of being with Miami and by that point expectations had dropped with him and it was a little too late

High-variance prospect; risks DeVante Parker trajectory of wasted upside
Brandon Angelo describes Chris Bell as a dangerous player with significant uncertainty; he's equally afraid to consider and not consider him because his game film shows either an ascending talent destined for stardom or an inconsistent frustrating tease. Angelo compares Bell to DeVante Parker's trajectory at Louisville—a player with God-given ability who didn't develop discipline until year three or four with Miami, by which point expectations had dropped and it was too late for his ceiling to be realized. The risk is Bell follows Parker's path of wasted early potential.
