Malik Nabers missed a little bit of time with a hamstring injury... I always hate when rookie receivers miss any level of time in the off-season... This was the case with Luther Burden last year who didn't get a lot of playing time early in the season beyond gimmick stuff cuz he was behind cuz he missed time in mini camps and OTAs and rookie camps... I think Malik Nabers might be playing a little bit of catch-up, but he's good enough to be the opening receiver number two.

Hamstring injury in offseason could delay rookie development
Missed offseason time with a hamstring injury, which Matt Harmon views as concerning for rookie receiver development. Harmon dislikes when rookie receivers miss any offseason time because they start behind, citing Luther Burden's 2024 experience as a cautionary example where he didn't get much playing time early in the season beyond gimmick stuff due to missing mini camps and OTAs. Despite the concern, Harmon believes Nabers is talented enough to still open as WR2, though he may play catch-up early.
