McBride's 40 PPG unsustainable with Brissett; regression risk high, worse ADP vs Bowers.
Mike Schop is very worried about Trey McBride's regression risk. McBride averaged 40 passes per game last year with Jacoby Brissett under center, a 3% outcome sustained only 10 times in the last decade and only back-to-back by Tom Brady's Buccaneers. Brissett is not Tom Brady and doesn't dictate the offense; when Arizona's volume regresses, the bottom falls out for McBride. Additionally, McBride's ADP has compressed significantly versus Brock Bowers—last year he went a full round after Bowers, but this year they're neck-and-neck, making Bowers the better value.
