RB2 candidate in three-way competition behind Williams.

Jaydon Blue is one of three primary candidates competing for the RB2 position behind Javonte Williams, alongside Phil Mafah and Malik Davis. Cowboys running backs not named Williams rushed for 397 yards and 3 TDs on 95 carries (4.17 yards per carry) in 2025, indicating the backup role is underdeveloped and presents opportunity for the winner of the competition.
