He didn't play until Week 7, but still had what ended up being his most productive season with 23 catches for 357 yards in nine games. He only had 11 catches for 110 yards over those two UFL seasons.

STACKED’s take

NeutralProjection

Mims' best NFL season was 23 catches in 2020; struggled in UFL with 11 catches over two years.

Mims is a 28-year-old former second-round pick (2020, Jets) who spent the last two years in the UFL after flaming out of the NFL. He recorded only 11 catches for 110 yards across two UFL seasons with the St. Louis Battlehawks and Dallas Renegades. The source suggests someone in the Cowboys organization believes he has unrealized potential, particularly as a 6'3" redzone threat, though his NFL track record is poor: his best season was 2020 (23 catches, 357 yards in nine games), and he never established consistent production despite playing for the Jets during the Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson eras.
