Nix raves about Waddle as explosive playmaker with versatile skill set; outplaying elite CB coverage.

Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is expected to be a major playmaker for the Broncos offense this season. Bo Nix praised Waddle as an "explosive playmaker" who is "really good at what he does," highlighting his speed, explosiveness, ball-in-hand ability, deep-ball capability, and screen-game versatility. Nix stated Waddle "adds an extra element to our offense" and noted the team has "a lot of different weapons." Waddle has performed as advertised in camp, getting the better of cornerback Pat Surtain II (former Defensive Player of the Year) during Day 2 practice.
