Nix throwing deep balls effectively early; ankle surgery not impacting performance.

Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has come out of the gates on fire early in training camp, hitting multiple deep passes including a 50-yard bomb to Marvin Mims and a 40+ yarder to Pat Bryant. Nix does not appear impacted by his offseason ankle surgery that cost him the vast majority of his offseason, and his chemistry with Jaylen Waddle looks great with the two connecting throughout camp. The source notes this is a great sign for the Broncos offense looking this good early in camp against a good defense, with new offensive coordinator Davis Webb implementing more uptempo, quicker-to-the-line play with creativity and motion.
