Strand, an undrafted QB out of Minnesota State-Moorhead, took all 11-on-11 reps at practice last week while both Michael Penix (knee) and Tua Tagovailoa (back) sat out recovering from injuries. Matthew Berry advises against adding Strand unless your only two QBs were Penix and Tua, noting there are better waiver options available in 1QB formats. Matthew Berry acknowledges QB success stories can come out of nowhere (citing Brock Purdy) but doesn't recommend rushing to add Strand.
