Allen entered training camp as the presumed No. 2 running back for the Jets. However, it sounds as though he has some legit competition for that spot. Isaiah Davis is reportedly pushing him for that role, which makes Allen's fantasy value a bit tenuous.

Davis competition limits Allen's path to relevance in low-scoring Jets offense.

Allen fell 5.2 spots after Isaiah Davis emerged as legitimate competition for the No. 2 RB role with the Jets. With Breece Hall as the preferred early-down option and Davis as the better pass catcher, Allen is relegated to a potential power-back role in an offense not expected to score many touchdowns. The source views him as having limited path to relevance and prefers other late-round RB flyers.
