Jaxson Dart waited, waited, and waited some more. He finally scrambled in for a touchdown. That led to some jawing, and to Dart throwing the ball at cornerback Greg Newsome. That resulted in a 15-yard penalty that forced Ben Sauls to kick the "game-winning" field goal, which he made, from 48 yards.

Dart's red zone TD scramble negated by taunting penalty in game-winning drill.

In a game-winning red zone drill situation (third-and-goal from the 3-yard line, :42 left, trailing by 6), Dart scrambled in for a touchdown but drew a 15-yard taunting penalty after jawing with cornerback Greg Newsome and throwing the ball at him. The penalty forced the team to back up the extra point attempt to 48 yards. Head coach John Harbaugh was clearly displeased, noting that for a game-winning extra point, the team does not want a 50-yard attempt.
