WR Troy Franklin caught a 20-yard pass from QB Bo Nix on the first play of team period during Day 5 practice, followed immediately by a 30-yard catch from Pat Bryant. Franklin also lit up when discussing playing in packages alongside star WR Jaylen Waddle, saying 'he's fast as hell. He's quick. I think I'm just trying to do a good job of being a sponge, and take whatever I can from him,' indicating excitement about learning from the veteran receiver.
