Parker Washington is entering his first full-time offensive workload after a breakout 2024 special teams season in which he became the first NFL player to score an international special teams touchdown with a franchise-record 96-yard punt return, finished first in touchdowns among punt returners, fifth in yards (341), and sixth in yards per return (13.6). His career average of 14.2 yards per punt return ranks first in franchise history and fourth among active NFL players (min. 20 returns). Special teams coordinator Heath Farwell called him 'an elite returner' and 'the best returner in the National Football League as far as I'm concerned,' noting he is 'feared across the league.' Washington will continue as the primary punt returner while expanding his offensive role.
