Yahoo Sports NFL on Josh Downs

100-catch potential realistic if Colts optimize passing game architecture around Downs.

The source projects Downs can become a 100-catch receiver if the Colts build the passing game correctly. This projection is grounded in his ability to accumulate production naturally through option routes, quick-game concepts, third-down throws, and answers against pressure without requiring the offense to be designed around him. The source emphasizes this does not require him to become a superstar overnight or be force-fed empty targets; the opportunity exists given the depth chart changes and coaching staff alignment toward more responsibility.
