Tate expected to be primary read in Daboll's offense with developing QB Cam Ward.

Expected to immediately play a legitimate role in Brian Daboll's offense in 2026; was excellent at OTAs with three touchdown catches at first open practice, continued development at minicamp, and has taken advantage of training camp opportunities to develop chemistry with franchise QB Cam Ward. It wouldn't be shocking if Tate was the primary read on most passing dropbacks despite competition from Wan'Dale Robinson, Calvin Ridley, Chimere Dike, and Elic Ayomanor.
