Star wide receiver Zay Flowers, who just signed a four-year, $140 million contract extension (making him the NFL's fourth-highest-paid WR at $35MM APY), suffered a quad contusion in a collision with safety Jaylinn Hawkins during Saturday's training camp practice. Head coach Jesse Minter said Flowers is 'day-to-day' and will likely miss some practice time. Flowers is extremely unlikely to play in next weekend's preseason matchup against the Eagles.
