Though basically unplayable for fantasy in his rookie season, Ward showed significant improvement after the Week 10 bye. His passer rating, touchdown rate, completion rate, EPA/dropback and other metrics jumped substantially; he threw 10 TDs and one interception in the closing stretch while nearly doubling his fantasy points per pass attempt (0.24 to 0.46). Tennessee massively upgraded his weaponry this offseason, replacing Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike with fourth overall pick Carnell Tate and high-volume safety blanket Wan'Dale Robinson. Historically, No. 1 overall picks see a boost in Year 2 fantasy output; the question is how significant Ward's boost will be.
