Yahoo Fantasy Football on Rome Odunze
From the article
The overconfidence in the fantasy world that Rome Odunze is the third-best pass-catcher in the Bears offense makes no sense to me. He goes two rounds after Colston Loveland and, prior to Luther Burden III's injury, a round after him (I like both players at cost, too). Odunze has already shown us that he's capable of being a good high-volume wideout for a stretch. In the first eight weeks of the season, Odunze was the WR11 in points per game, 15th in yards per game, 12th in team target share, 19th in yards per route run and 13th in first downs per route run (minimum 110 routes run). He trailed only Amon-Ra St. Brown, Michael Pittman Jr., Davante Adams and George Pickens in touchdown catches during that span.
STACKED’s take
Odunze's ADP undervalues his early-season elite production and talent; now healthy after foot injury.
The source disputes the fantasy world's overconfidence that Odunze is the third-best pass-catcher in the Bears offense; he goes two rounds after Colston Loveland and a round after Luther Burden III, making him undervalued at cost. In the first eight weeks of 2025, Odunze was WR11 in points per game, 15th in yards per game, 12th in team target share, 19th in yards per route run, and 13th in first downs per route run (minimum 110 routes run); he trailed only Amon-Ra St. Brown, Michael Pittman Jr., Davante Adams, and George Pickens in touchdown catches during that span. The source believes his film is even better than those numbers indicate and he remains one of the more talented young wideouts in the game, especially if he cleans up catch-point mistakes from 2025. He suffered a foot/heel injury in Week 9 that ruined his season but is now healthy for 2026.
