Harris recovering from Achilles tear; Harbaugh cautious on timeline but optimistic on upside.

Harris signed with the Giants after tearing an Achilles tendon with the Chargers in 2025, playing just three games before the injury. Coach John Harbaugh said Harris 'is not back 100%. He's not in football shape yet' following his Monday workout, noting recovery will be 'a process' but that Harris has 'a lot of experience' as a 'decorated vet' and could work out well if fully recovered.
