The former second-round pick out of Notre Dame was brought in for a workout by the Saints following Tyson's hamstring injury; Claypool has 175 career receptions for 2,261 yards and 13 touchdowns in 58 games, most recently signed with Buffalo but departed via injury settlement and has not played since 2023.
