McCaffrey's 24.5 PPG and 102 catches support RB1 status despite age and camp tightness.

McCaffrey bounced back from his injury-plagued 2024 season to put together an elite 2025 campaign, ranking first in both expected fantasy points (401.9) and fantasy points per game (24.5) while totaling the second-most receiving yards (924) in his career. His absurd receiving production (102-924-7) was a flashback to his days at Carolina, when he posted back-to-back 100-catch seasons in 2018 and 2019. He's currently dealing with some muscle tightness in camp, but assuming the 30-year-old back isn't dealing with anything serious, the opportunity to take last year's RB1 at the sixth overall pick feels too good to pass up.
