Williams has room to improve from QB5 finish with better receivers and Johnson's play-action scheme.

Although Williams checked in as QB5 last year, there is room for improvement. His YPA and QB rating were both below code, and a 58.1% completion rate is especially low in today's game. However, Ben Johnson's scheming can iron out some rough play; the Bears were fourth in play-action yardage. Every key Williams target (Luther Burden III, Rome Odunze, Colston Loveland) is a young player still on the escalator.
