My favorite pick of round two is going to go ahead and be Bengals running back Chase Brown. He just gives me more answers than questions... The workload we should feel great about... We've seen Chase Brown take over in the second half of each of the past two seasons... he's again going to be the featured three-own running back in an offense that has helped him be a top five player down the stretch in each of these past two seasons. He has 70 plus catch upside.
STACKED’s take
Hartitz's round-two favorite; strong workload, 70+ catch upside, ranked RB4 overall.
Ian Hartitz's favorite pick of round 2. Brown gives more answers than questions; Hartitz is not worried about the Bengals offense and feels better with Joe Flacco as backup QB. Workload is strong with aging backup Sam Perkins (soon to be 31) and Brown taking over in the second half of each of the past two seasons; originally split work with Zack Moss before emerging. Training camp reports are positive including more slot snaps; featured three-down back in an offense that helped him be a top-five player down the stretch in each of the past two seasons; has 70+ catch upside; no injury concerns; contract year motivation. Ranked as Hartitz's number 8 player overall and RB4.
