Myles Gaskin, born and raised in the Seattle area and a standout running back on the Washington Huskies, has announced his retirement after seven seasons in the pros. The 29-year-old wrote his farewell to the gridiron in an Instagram post.

Gaskin announced his retirement after seven NFL seasons at age 29. He was signed to the Seahawks practice squad in October 2025, appeared in one game (vs. Minnesota Vikings) in garbage time with three carries for six yards, and was released from the practice squad on December 13 without signing elsewhere. His final NFL chapter was with his hometown Seattle Seahawks, the 2025 Super Bowl winners.
