Fourth-year RB Davis is now in the mix to make the Cowboys' 53-man roster and has a great case for winning the RB2 job behind starter Javonte Williams. After being waived twice in 2025 before getting an active roster opportunity, Davis finished the season with 52 carries for 250 yards (4.8 yards per carry) and two touchdowns in 10 games. With Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah both limited by injuries heading into week two preseason, Davis will likely see a heavy workload and has an inside track to making the final roster.
