Allar's mixed Jets preseason: 11-of-23, 110 yards, no turnovers but limited scoring impact.

Allar, a 22-year-old third-round pick from Penn State, appeared in the second half against the Jets after starting the preseason opener against Green Bay. Against the Jets, he finished 11-of-23 for 110 yards without turnovers but also without impressive production. His best moment came in the third quarter when he evaded pressure and connected with tight end Lake McRee on a 38-yard deep ball, but he was sacked three plays later and the drive stalled into a missed 44-yard field goal attempt. He also strung together a two-minute drill in the fourth quarter that didn't result in points.
