FantasyPros Articles on Justin Herbert
From the article
Justin Herbert finished the 2025 season as the QB10 in PPG, mostly on the back of his rushing production (6th in rushing yards per game at 31.1)... With a healthier OL in 2026, Herbert can flirt with elite fantasy QB status... I'm not afraid to pull the trigger on Herbert in Round 7 or 8 (if he falls).
STACKED’s take
Herbert's rushing upside and healthier OL/schedule support elite QB ceiling in 2026.
Herbert finished 2025 as QB10 in PPG, driven largely by rushing production (6th in rushing yards per game at 31.1), hitting career highs in rushing yards and carries while tying Josh Allen for most boom finishes (4). Offensive line injuries crushed his ceiling, but with a healthier OL in 2026, he can flirt with elite QB status. In five games with Joe Alt, Herbert averaged 23.9 PPG; in 12 games without Alt, only 16.2 PPG. New OC Mike McDaniel's arrival and interior line revamp (Tyler Biadasz, Cole Strange, Jake Slaughter) plus 12-personnel TE deployment should elevate his ceiling. The Chargers' schedule improved from 13th to 21st (29th in projected SOS), and as the 2nd-most-injured team in the AFC last year, they are prime candidates for better health luck. Herbert is a Round 7-8 target in 1QB leagues and very attractive in Superflex 2QB formats.
