Doubs, 6'2", 210 lbs, delivered a three-touchdown preseason performance (Aug. 15) leaping over defenders and high-pointing the ball in the end zone; his role shifted to running more sideline routes with increased comfort on 50/50 balls. Wide receivers coach Todd Downing cited his ability to play above the rim, strength, and football IQ as red zone assets; Doubs caught seven red zone touchdowns in 2022 (fourth-most in NFL), posted a 58.82% contested catch rate and 30% target share in the red zone in 2025, and Packers QB Jordan Love recorded a 137.9 passer rating when targeting him. Head coach Mike Vrabel emphasized finding where Doubs can be "big, fast and aggressive" to build confidence and help the team.
