Hill's agent Drew Rosenhaus predicted on The Pat McAfee Show that Hill will play in the 2026 season despite recovering from severe ligament tears including an ACL and a left knee dislocation suffered in Week 4 of 2025. Rosenhaus stated 'It's not hyperbole for me to predict that he will play this season' and added that when Hill signs, 'he will be a coveted player' who 'will impact the playoff race and will certainly be successful once he signs.' Hill continues to recover and the Dolphins released him.
