Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid announced Walker III is dealing with a swollen ankle and will not play in the team's preseason finale at home against Seattle on August 28. Although Walker III has been a non-participant in the Chiefs last two practices, Reid added the swelling was merely due to his cleat and he is not expected to be sidelined long-term.

Kenneth Walker III is dealing with a swollen ankle and will not play in the Chiefs' preseason finale against Seattle on August 28. Although he was a non-participant in the Chiefs' last two practices, head coach Andy Reid indicated the swelling was merely due to his cleat and he is not expected to be sidelined long-term. Walker III will make his return in the regular season when the Seahawks host Kansas City on Sunday Night Football in Week 7.
