Turf Show Times on Jordan Waters

Waters posted 19-yard run in rookie RB battle; comparable to Connors.

Rams rookie RB competing with Dean Connors for roster spot after Jarquez Hunter trade to Miami. Waters 'helped carry the load on the ground' and picked up a solid 19-yard run in the third quarter. Source notes both Waters and Connors 'looked decent and comparable today' but 'neither were exceptional as both were stuffed on goal line carries early in the game.' With Hunter's departure, 'it's expected either Connors or Waters fills that void.'
