Brenton Strange fantasy football insight from Hayden Winks - PPR Rankings

Brenton StrangeTEJAX

Brenton Strange (TE, JAX) is #152 overall in Hayden Winks' 2026 Half-PPR rankings vs. Underdog ADP 151.5 with a 124.8-point projection. Verdict: Strange is a viable target in extremely crowded offense as mid-range TE2. Strange is a quality player in both phases and provides some upside as a flier TE2 in fantasy football, but the reality is the Jaguars have 4 WRs, 3 RBs, and 2 TEs in the mix. The Jaguars drafted 2nd-round TE Nate Boerkircher to help out in blocking situations this offseason, and Strange's breakout coincided without Travis Hunter and with Brian Thomas Jr. struggling.

The Jaguars drafted 2nd-round TE Nate Boerkircher to help out in blocking situations this offseason, and Strange's breakout coincided without Travis Hunter and with Brian Thomas Jr. struggling. In fact, Strange's best game of the year was without both of them. With neither of those high-ceiling receivers playing at their best level and in an offense that was 6th in scoring and 5th in neutral pass rate, Strange mustered a TE21 on TE16 usage season. To improve on last year's numbers, Strange will have to improve at a faster rate than 3rd-year BTJ, 2nd-year Hunter, contract-year Parker Washington, and highly-invested Jakobi Meyers. I don't love those odds, even if I like his tape.
