Lloyd is doing everything he can to fix these reoccurring hamstring injuries. He did a full-body analysis to locate the root cause of the issues, then has rehabbed to fix the disproportions. He essentially needed to get more flexible in his ankles and hips. Same!!! Lloyd made tangible process. He was available and drew positive reviews throughout mini camp and OTAs, and he should be fully ready for training camp heading into his 3rd season. Is he more likely to get injured than other healthy RBs? Probably. Is the difference staggering? I don't think so, now that he's actually healthy right now. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs' alleged domestic violence is still being investigated by the District Attorney's offense, and we won't know exactly when that will escalate or end. There seemed to be credible 911 calls there, but there wasn't enough evidence at the time to proceed with charges. That can change at any time. Long story short, the NFL can place Jacobs on the Commissioner's Exempt List or suspend him for roughly 6 games at any time. More information would likely need to surface for that to happen in 2026, but the odds are definitely not 0%. That gives Lloyd more value than other pure handcuffs. Jacobs has been half PPR's per-game RB9 on RB9 usage since joining the Packers in 2024. There's clear upside if Lloyd is ever thrusted into the starting job. He'd be the top option over hybrid fullback Chris Brooks.
