Big Blue View on Tyrone Tracy
From the article
Despite a rough preseason that has seen Tracy have a brutal missed block as well as a bad fumble, I don't believe that Tracy is in danger of being cut. However, he is in danger of tumbling down the depth chart... That, in and of itself, would be a stunning fall from grace for the only player from his draft class to eclipse 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons.
STACKED’s take
Preseason struggles threaten Tracy's depth chart status and trade value despite 1k-yard seasons.
Despite not being in danger of being cut, Tracy is at risk of tumbling down the depth chart after a rough preseason featuring a brutal missed block and bad fumble. If the Giants don't trust Tracy and are content with a 1-2 punch of Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary (potentially giving way to Najee Harris), Tracy could end up on the inactive list—a stunning fall for the only player from his draft class to eclipse 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons. He could also find himself on the trading block, as teams from the Kyle Shanahan coaching tree (Raiders' Klint Kubiak and Cardinals' Mike LeFleur) may target him for his receiving background and production track record.
