Shough's late-season efficiency and rushing upside project QB1 potential with improved Saints weapons.

Shough is positioned as a late-round QB1 candidate for 2026. In Weeks 12-18 last season, he finished QB6 in fantasy points per game while averaging 25 rushing yards per game (which would have ranked 12th-best for a full season). Over that span, among 30 qualifying QBs, Shough ranked 12th in yards per attempt and highly accurate throw rate, ninth in hero throw rate, and seventh in passing yards per game. With Travis Etienne, Bryce Lance, Oscar Delp, and Jordyn Tyson added to New Orleans' offensive firepower, Derek Brown expects the Saints offense to take another leap if Shough maintains his strong finish form.
