Johnson's career year and route volume offer late-round upside at a virtually free price.

Johnson ranks a full round outside of the source's rankings on two of three major sites (Yahoo! 133 vs. source 144; Sleeper 187 vs. source 144), making him undervalued in the market. He enjoyed a career year in his first season under head coach Kellen Moore, catching 77 passes for 889 yards and three touchdowns on 102 targets—all career-highs for the seventh-year tight end. He ran 525 routes, fourth-most in the league behind only Trey McBride (694), Travis Kelce (573), and Kyle Pitts (539). Johnson posted a top-12 fantasy week in 53 percent of his games last season, and the injury to Jordyn Tyson (hamstring) should ward off concerns over the rookie eating into his target share early in the season. Among 29 tight ends with 50-plus targets last season, Johnson ranked sixth in air yards per target (7.6) and was tied for 14th in YAC/REC (4.7). For a player currently ranked in the 14th and 16th rounds of 12-team fantasy drafts on ESPN and Sleeper, Johnson might have the most upside of any late-round tight end based on this virtually free price tag.
