From the article

Brooks is an outstanding blocking back and a good enough receiver. He's very useful and he's capable of rattling off 5 yards a carry against light boxes while keeping your QB upright. I love Chris Brooks as a player, just not at 200 carries.

Positive signalRole

Brooks is an elite blocker and capable receiver but best suited for committee role, not workhorse.

Brooks is characterized as an outstanding blocking back and good enough receiver who could function as part of a three-back committee with Pierre Strong Jr. and Marshawn Lloyd if the Packers move on from Josh Jacobs. The source loves Brooks as a player and notes he is very useful, capable of averaging 5 yards per carry against light boxes while keeping the quarterback upright. However, the source does not envision Brooks handling 200 carries, suggesting his role would remain limited to committee work and situational usage.
