Rookie Green's upside and physical tools make him more likely to land the third QB roster spot.

Green, a rookie, appeared in the second half of the Browns' preseason finale against the Patriots, completing five passes for 27 yards and adding eight rushes for 66 yards. Despite Gabriel's more impressive overall performance, the source assesses that Green is more likely to secure the third roster spot because he is younger and possesses the physical tools that could develop into something valuable for the team; when evaluating the third quarterback role, upside and developmental potential are prioritized over current floor.
