Tua would then fumble an iffy snap from Corey Levin to derail a drive...the snap was a little sloppy but Tua utterly failed to grab it and then failed to fall on it, allowing the Dolphins to recover it. With the problems he's had with snaps and the lack of a standout summer, Tua's going to have to hope Penix isn't ready and then will need to be superb just to hold the gig.

Tagovailoa's starting prospects are increasingly uncertain; he fumbled on the first snap of the second drive, failing to grab a sloppy snap and then failing to fall on it, allowing Miami to recover. With mounting snap-handling problems and a lack of a standout summer, he will need to hope Michael Penix Jr. isn't ready and then be superb just to hold the job, though he showed enough to hold it if Penix isn't 110% ready and impressive over the next two weeks.
