Rush leads two scoring drives, solidifies QB3 role with strong throws.

Rush led the offense to two scoring drives despite being held in check by a vanilla game plan early on and missing a couple of short throws; he had two of the best throws of the night, including a sharp slant to Jack Velling for a touchdown and a beautiful ball to Tyler Goodson that set up a field goal. He hasn't done anything to play himself out of a QB3 role, though the question remains whether the Falcons view Jack Strand's upside as significant enough to part ways with Rush or try to sneak him onto the practice squad.
